branding

Your portrait is often the very first “meeting” a client, employer, or follower ever has with you — long before you say a word. I love digging into what makes someone tick and turning that into an image that actually feels like them, not a stiff corporate cutout. Whether you’re the boss, the brand, or just the most interesting person in the room, let’s make a picture that proves it.

corporate

Getting a whole team to look natural in front of a camera is basically a small miracle, and I’ve gotten pretty good at pulling it off. From boardrooms to hallway groupings nobody wants to organize, I make the process painless and the results look like your team actually likes each other (even on a Monday).

Headshots

Nobody wants to look like they’re being booked for a mugshot. My goal is to get you looking sharp, approachable, and unmistakably you — the kind of photo that makes people go “oh, I’d hire them” before they even read your bio.

Black and white photo booth

There’s something about black and white that just makes people look like the best version of themselves — timeless, a little dramatic, zero excuses. I’ll be right there directing the fun: telling you where to put your hands, making you laugh at exactly the right moment, and generally making sure nobody feels awkward in front of the camera. Using my on-site printer, you and your loved ones each walk away with a gift — a real, printed keepsake the same day. For weddings, it gets even more special: the couple and their guests can sign the photo right there on an iPad, which gets stamped and printed straight into a keepsake for the wedding album. Pricing depends on print size and finish, so text me and I’ll sort out the details — and if you’re anywhere on Vancouver Island, I’ll happily travel to you.

glamour portraits

This is the session where you get the full experience — hair and makeup done by a pro, a rack of dresses to choose from (bring your own or borrow one of mine), and a photoshoot built entirely around you. We start with a few “before” shots, and then the transformation begins. What happens next is the part I didn’t expect when I first started doing these: women seeing themselves — really seeing themselves — often for the first time in years. I’ve had clients in tears, telling me it was one of the most moving experiences they’ve ever had, finally seeing what the rest of the world has seen all along. If you’ve spent a long time taking care of everyone else, this is the session where someone takes care of you.

events

Birthdays, family reunions, corporate parties, theatre productions, bar and bat mitzvahs — if people are gathered together celebrating something, I want to be there capturing it. Every event has its own rhythm and its own personality, and my job is to blend into it, catch the real moments as they happen, and hand you back a set of photos that actually feels like the night you had, not a stiff series of posed group shots. Every event is different, so pricing depends on the details — location, length, what you’re picturing — text me and let’s figure out what works for you.

family

Life moves fast — kids grow, parents get busier, and somehow you blink and the moment’s gone. A portrait is one of the only ways to actually hold onto it: not a phone photo buried in your camera roll, but something real, printed, and up on your wall for years to come. There’s a reason people say to breathe your kids in while you can — this is one way to actually keep a little of that closeness, frozen, long after they’ve grown past it. Now that I’ve got my own studio with all that gorgeous light and white space, family sessions have become my happy place — genuine smiles, a little silliness, grandparents sneaking in a candid laugh. And if studio isn’t your thing, I’m just as happy shooting outdoors, wherever your family feels most like yourselves.

graduates

Graduation deserves better than a blurry phone photo from a proud but shaky-handed relative. Over the years I’ve photographed grads everywhere from Dubai to Bahrain to London, and now right here in the Comox Valley — cap and gown, jeans and a t-shirt, or something entirely dressed up, whatever actually feels like you. This milestone doesn’t come around twice, so let’s make sure it’s captured properly.

This is a paragraph. Click edit and enter your own text. You can make changes like making the text bold, underline or italic. This is a great place for you to tell your clients more about your story and to describe the type of photographer you are. You can come back at any time to make more changes.

Fashion/ e-commerce

Good product and fashion photography is sneaky — it should look effortless while doing a lot of quiet, technical work behind the scenes. Whether it’s clothing, product shots, or a full styled shoot, I bring the same eye for light and detail that shows up in everything else I do.

Holiday Minis

The holidays move fast, and so do these sessions — quick, simple, and just enough time to capture everyone looking their best (or at least looking like themselves, which is usually better anyway). Most Holiday Minis happen right here in studio, though we can take it outside if that’s more your speed. And here’s my favourite part: every session comes with the option of one of my little keepsake accordion books — the kind of tiny, fold-out treasure that moms, dads, grandmas, and grandpas will actually keep on a shelf, long after the wrapping paper’s gone. Booking opens end of October — text or email me to get on the list before spots fill up.
